Troglodytes

One of the main reasons that our ancestors settled in the Vezere Valley more than 460,000 years ago, was because the landscape was ideal, there was
plenty of natural caves and shelters that provided our ancestors protection against wild animals, and bitter wind and cold.
Troglodytes can be found everywhere in the Vezere Valley, from the basic prehistoric troglodytes, to the lavish troglodytes that through the centuries have become real houses.
